The Heritage Club is the heart of our rural community—a welcoming space where over 450 members come together to learn, grow, and thrive. With more than 10,000 annual check-ins, our center is a vibrant hub of activity and support.

Membership

Membership is open to anyone 55 years or older, and we proudly celebrate the diversity of our members—whether you're 55 or 95, there is a place here for you. Every individual brings unique experiences, energy, and wisdom to our community, and we honor that richness in everything we do.

We Offer

  • Educational Meals & Events: Over 40 annual events featuring expert speakers on health, safety, finance, and more.
  • Daily Social & Wellness Activities: From art and exercise classes to card games and member-led groups, we foster connection and joy.
  • Comprehensive Resource Wall: Access vital information on healthcare, financial aid, and community services.
  • Fitness & Transportation Services: A fully equipped fitness room and reliable public transportation help members stay active and mobile.

We proudly partner with the Area Agency on Aging (AIHS) to provide essential services like shot clinics and health screenings.

Who We Support

The Heritage Club offers a recreation and activity center for the 6,800 residents ages 55 and older in Steuben County. Currently serving over 450 members, our focus is on activities to stay involved and connected. Educational programs include nutrition, finance, legal, technology, mental health and wellness. 



Donations can be made directly to Steuben County Council on Aging, Inc., and are vital to sustaining the programs and services we provide to seniors in our community.
