On Friday, August 23rd, 2024, The Heritage Club brought the vibrant spirit of New Orleans to life with The Mardi Gras Gala. With 250 guests in attendance, the evening featured live jazz music by the Steve Somers Band, festive décor, and a buffet of authentic Cajun and Creole cuisine catered by Lake It Easy—including smoked alligator, alligator meatballs, and a King Cake shipped directly from New Orleans. Quivering Liver returned to provide lively cash bars, adding to the celebratory atmosphere. Fundraising activities included the wine and whiskey pulls, a silent auction, and a high-energy live auction led by Tom West. The event generated a net income of $36,400, making it a flavorful and festive celebration of generosity and community spirit
